Bunk Letters

Week 7

Dear 1B Planet Z for Ziquon in the Snicker galaxy Families:

The Ziquon Art show was a huge success. The Ziquonites completed construction of their Starship and the necessary JET-PACKS to keep up from floating away given the difference in gravity here on Earth.  Now the big decision:  Should we return to Planet Z?

Ryan:  "Let's stay on Earth because they have better things. I don't want to get hit by another meteor and the Earthlings have a lot of friends and a lot of food".

Ezio:  "I don't want to go to Ziquon.  I want to stay here with my mommy and my daddy".

Rosie:  "Where is Planet Z?  For real, where is it?

Luca:  "I'd say go back to Planet Z.  It's funnier and we get to eat the whole tower because it's made out of chocolate."

Nature:

Leo:  "I liked Nature this week.  We made teepees in the woods.  I liked being the prey and trying to get all the way to the bird blind.  1A snuck up and ran into the room and got the counselors, except for Sam.  He saw they were coming and he ran away.  Now we have to eat them".

Art:

Bella:  "We made play dough.  We put food coloring in it so we have our own colored play dough".

Music:

Reina:  "We made funny songs, because we put funny words inside instead of the real words.  (We made mad libs with the songs we learn this summer)".

Drama:

Evan:  "We were mimes.  A mime is somebody who doesn't talk and wears a mask.  Our masks you don't know if I'm smiling or I'm sad.

Athletics:

Rosalind:  "We played "Sharks and Minnows".  We are getting ready for the Olympics on Friday".

The counselors salute the campers who will go back to Earth life.  We will miss.

Rosalind:  Her helpfulness, big smile, her "What?' game, her stories, her tappiness tap! tap! tap! constructional swim.

Reina:  Her extended thoughts, curiosity, imagination and creativity, her huge collection of stuffies, her progress in the swimming pool.

Sarina:  Her willingness to participate, kindness and her dance moves.

Ryan:  His helpfulness, laugh when he gets tickled, his affection, playful attitude and his excitement to Pluto and beyond!

Best wishes,

Carolyn, Adam, Sam, Mikhaila, Brie and Kelsey
