Week 7
Dear Miquon Families,
Are there really only six days left of camp? Sadly, yes - staff and campers are feeling a little nostagic as we prepare to close up for the summer.
While this week has brought hot and humid days and cool rainy days, our campers and staff are still full of playful energy and hands-on discovery. In Nature this week, our campers had the opportunity to not only learn about prey and predators at Miquon, but had the opportunity to BE the prey and predators. In music, campers played Mad Libs to camp song favorites, and in art, drawing on a table full of shaving cream is always fun. In Athletics, we prepare for our silly Intergallactic Games tomorrow, and in drama, campers acted out feelings and expression without using their faces. In the creek, campers build waterfalls, rock museums and crayfish pools - great summer fun for all!
Best wishes,
Cindy Fleming-Powell
Camp Director
