Dear Camp Families,
What a glorious day here at Miquon! If one sits for a moment, one feels the cool breeze, hears the rhythms of the cicada above and the shakers and guitar in music class and sees the energetic movement of campers and staff against a background of green. As you can tell, I love my job.
This week, our campers have chosen their bunk names in keeping with our theme of space visitors to Miquon and will be officially titled in our naming ceremony on Friday afternoon. Each bunk has begun to develop the story of their origins in space and how they came to land at Miquon Day Camp for the summer. Later in the season, this story will become our camp play.
We invite you to take a moment and read what your child’s bunk has been up to on BUNK HOME BASE PAGES.
HOW TO REACH US NOW THAT CAMP HAS BEGUN:
To call us, use our main number during regular business hours (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM).
610 828 1231
Because we are constantly moving in the Miquon Valley during the day, our cell phone reception is difficult. We check messages on the cell phone after 4 PM, early in the morning and on weekends. We check our e-mail once a day, generally at the end of the camp day.
We wish all of our families a happy and safe holiday weekend and look foreword to seeing you again on Tuesday, July 6th.

We are also excited to introduce our new Summer Vacation Care Program, a multi-age daycare program to offer coverage during the periods between camp and school schedules. Under the direction of Miriama Koroma, each week provides time for creativity, play and learning, and ends with a fun, family event. Transportation is not provided.
