Dear Miquon Camp Families -
Just a quick letter to update you on this week and next. This is our Universal Creations Week; our Art Show is planned for Friday. Each bunk will transform into an Art Gallery to display our campers' art projects, and campers are asked to wear their tye-dyed shirts. This is a great time for families to visit, walk through campus, enjoy the musical acts playing on the playbarn and spend the afternoon with your camper.
PARKING and DISMISSAL for FRIDAY'S PERFORMANCE:
Families who will be attending, are asked to park in the lot below the campus, (signs will be posted) and ride the van/bus shuttles to the campus. When you arrive to campus, you will be asked to sign-out your campers if you plan to take them home. Galleries open at 2:00 PM. After the show, your campers and you will be shuttled back to your cars by 3:10 PM.
The train from Center City to the Miquon Station arrives at 1:54, and we will have a shuttle there as well. It departs at 3:03 PM.
Dismissal for campers who are riding buses and vans home on Friday will be delayed. We expect to dismiss at 3:35 PM.
Next week, our week of Planetary Play, will focus on teamwork and will feature a Trashless Lunch on Tuesday, for which we encourage campers to pack a lunch with as little trash as possible. The week will end with the Planetary Olympics, directed by Whitney Parronish, our Athletic Director.
Best wishes,
Cindy Fleming-Powell
Director

We are also excited to introduce our new Summer Vacation Care Program, a multi-age daycare program to offer coverage during the periods between camp and school schedules. Under the direction of Miriama Koroma, each week provides time for creativity, play and learning, and ends with a fun, family event. Transportation is not provided.
